One of Ottawa's most dynamic and professional bands, they played just the kind of music you'd expect a great rock band to play. That is... rock. Oh sure, there was some Blues, the odd venture toward Americana, a brief hint of Ska/Punk, and... well... no self-respecting rock band would go without timeless Ballads either so those were tossed in too... but it was Rock, plain and simple. Lone Brethren was the band for those who just love 'music' more than 'labels'.
Beyond that, it's also what happened when two accomplished and prolific songwriters and three highly talented and creative composers were thrown into the same studio. Edgy music with equal parts grit and passion.
